I haven't tested it myself, but it should work.

Did you do the following verification step? If you did were you able to access the GoPro?

    3) Verification step. Turn on the camera and check you can really connect you your camera: Open your mobile browser and open http://10.5.5.9:8080/ (GoPro 3/3+) or http://10.5.5.9/videos/ (GoPro 4). You should see something like in the screenshot below. After that you can switch off the camera again. Make sure the WiFi light is still flashing.

If you did, and you get the GoPro page open, then you should turn on logging:
    i) Enable RaceChrono > Settings > Expert settings > Save debug logs
ii) Record a session, connect to GoPro WiFi, and let RaceChrono connect. If it says "Unable to connect" then press the retry button few times.
iii) Stop recording, wait for 2 minutes
iv) Copy and send me the log file from device internal storage /Android/data/com.racechrono.pro/files/logs/goproN_log.txt or /Android/data/com.racechrono.app/files/logs/goproN_log.txt to tracks(at)racechrono.com
  • thank you for the support. It seams that I had the wrong ip adress of the camera. It worked with 10.5.5.9.

Until now I tested Racechrono with succes with gopro 3+ black, Hero 4 Session, Hero 4 Black.

I have another great camera (Xiaomy Yi). Maybe in the future you will connect other cameras to your application.
