Recommended video resolution SJ4000

I ordered a SJCAM SJ4000 which I'm going to use together with RaceChrono Pro running on a Moto X Play (Android 6.0.1) and a Garmin Glo. As I won't have much time for testing before the motorcyle track day, I would like to ask for recommended video settings. Is 1080p really useful or should I record in 720p instead? Any other tips on the settings of the camera?

    Looks like it does only 30fps on 1080p. Does it support 720p @ 60fps? I'd choose that if it does.

    No, unfortunately not. The offered 720p@60fps option is complete nonsense, it delivers double frames.

    ok, thank you. How do you guys handle the giant amount of data, do you just use this feature for the best laps? I estimate about 18 Gb of videos for this single event...

    I personally storage everything on a NAS (network attached storage). The 6 terabytes can fit a few sessions. But I guess if I was doing just track days, I'd just export my best laps and then delete the raw videos.
