no connection to GPS

Hi, I have downloaded the RC for my PC and I look forward to using this program frequently, but when I have done my settings for the external GPS, I still told that I do not have any contact with my GPS. I guess I need an active bluetooth connection, how do I get this in the RC?

    what is your operating system ?

    it is Win 7 and the GPS is Holux GPSlim 236

    When bluetooth GPS is paired to your pc, test it with another app like google earth.
