cache maps of track

Hi, i have a wifi only Motorola Xoom, the app works great, and even better with a bluetooth gps receiver. One suggestion i have would be to have the ability to cache the google earth image of my track. When i am at the track out of wifi range it just shows me my traps and lap lines on a blank background. It would be cool if i could actually see the track. Just would be a cool option if easily possible.
Thanks for a great laptimer.... but why doesnt it make me faster? Im still slow.

    Hi, unfortunately the map component is a Google closed-source component, so I cannot control it's caching at all. It does some caching, but only when using 3G etc. So you always end up using data.

    Ok no problem, it was just a thought. Thanks for an excellent app! I will just have to tether to get the data when im at the track i guess!
