I also would appreciate being able to run the iPad app on my macOS laptop. Would decrease the number of devices I need to bring places. I've been loving the iPad app.
I collect data on an Android phone, upload it to google drive, import it into my iPad app, and enjoy the big screen.
I don't even care if some features are just broken on macOS. I'd just be happy to have that device available since I bring it many more places since it can do many more things.
