Richter Working on CarPlay right now, it's looking good. But the hardest part is still ahead: The bureaucracy and app reviews. So I cannot really say when.

It certainly will be timer screen only, with only option to start a session, and maybe select a track. I mean you're not supposed to do much while driving.

Can I just check if something changed recently? My Racebox doesn't record a lean angle measurement anymore.

I have the Racebox connected as a GPS.
I have the IMU selected in the settings.
I have the slider green for "Uses IMU for lean angle".

But when I test it, there is no lean angle data in that column. It's blank.

What am I missing here?

Username1 The "Prefer IMU data" setting is new, and when that is turned on it calculates the lean angle etc. from real IMU data. These channels used to be calculated from the GPS data.

Due the way the math works, after a bit of driving, the phone orientation can be calculated and the channels start working. Basically it needs few corners and braking zones. Also the RaceBox needs to be mounted securely on the vehicle.

Hi i love your app, but the predicted lap gauge doesnt show the "predicted" word on the title of the gauge, idk if this is how its supposed to be but its kind of bugging me and i want to be able to see it, could you please look into this?

And one more thing, Could you please add more video export options like the resolution, framerate, hdr and all that stuff, i think having more versatility in the export options would be great instead of just the original quality thats just lower bit rate.

Justin Can you send a screenshot of where the title is missing? On exported overlay or where?

Resolution and HDR are possible, but I wont do framerate. It will look like shit if framerate is different than the source video 🙂

there i made sure there was title text but it only shows the predicted time
