I'm running a 32 hp Honda 4-stroke kart engine on my kart, and I want to display engine RPM in RaceChrono, because it's a key parameter for me. I deliberately do not want to go with MyChron or Alfano. I'd rather keep everything in one system: data logging, dashboards, and video recording for content creation.
I know RaceChrono can work with external data sources, OBD/CAN, and DIY sensors, but I'm looking for already proven accessories that actually work with RaceChrono on a kart setup.
What I'm specifically trying to figure out: What are the best solutions for RPM/engine speed on a 4-stroke Honda kart engine?
Are there any suitable sensors or adapters for throttle and brake pedal position that RaceChrono can handle?
Which Bluetooth, CAN, or DIY setups have actually been used successfully?
What is the most practical solution if I want video, dashboards, and telemetry all integrated nicely in RaceChrono?
I'm not looking for vague theory or endless DIY experiments - I need a setup that is reliable on-track.
