Cannot get standard OBD channels to record

This is for a 2019 BMW i3S, using RaceChrono on my iPad. My OBD reader is a Veepeak one. I'm aware the OBDLink MX+ is what one really needs but I wanted to get a proof of concept working before I bought an expensive OBD reader.

I'm really not sure what I am doing wrong. My Veepeak pairs in the app fine. When I use the "Test Connection" option it seems to connect okay. But when I turn on the "Show standard channels" they don't seem to save to the vehicle profile. I tried manually copying over some of the standard channels into custom ones and those save but they never record any data. I'm at a loss here, if anyone has any advise for me I'd greatly appreciate it.

buckwheat1961 The "show standard channels" does not affect recording at all. You need to select the recorded channels with "Fast channels" and "Slow channels" options. The test connection polls everything on display.
