I would love to see a feature that allows us to create Home Screen Shortcuts or Widgets for specific tracks and configurations.
Why this is useful:
Getting ready on the grid is always a rush. Between putting on helmets, gloves, and mounting the phone inside a protective case (especially in karting), every screen tap counts. Also, when racing at tracks with multiple layouts or different directions (e.g., Clockwise vs. Counter-Clockwise), automatic GPS detection cannot differentiate them beforehand.
Having a direct home screen shortcut for a specific track layout would mean we could launch RaceChrono with the correct configuration already selected in just one tap, without having to navigate menus with racing gloves on.
Additionally, this would make it much easier to integrate with system voice assistants (Siri / Google Assistant) to launch a specific session completely hands-free.
