Edit and import vehicle profile into RaceChrono

I'd like to make programatic to vehicle profile files that I've exported. For example, I want to configure tire temp sensors, 16 channels per tire. The kind of data entry task that a script is good for.

Whenever I try to re-import a hand-edited vehicle profile, RCP doesn't see the file. Is there a specific compression method or signature that I need to have to make a compatible vehicle profile to import?

edub normal json inside a zip, but make sure to retain the json syntax and the folder structure.

aol Thanks. I bet I'm probably munging the json without knowing it.

Is there a channel ID -> common name mapping? There doesn't seem to be an obvious pattern to the channel ID numbers assigned.

For example I've got FL Tire Temp channel 1, ID # is 1246197. For FL tire temp channel 2 the ID # is 2196469.
