Hey - just back from track and going through my usual triple per-session RC export workflow. And reminded again of an annoying time wasting aspect of the RC implementation on IOS.
Which is that the completed export queue items are not visible / stored in the IOS "RaceChrono" folder accessed via the normal "Files" app. That folder has zero items in it even though I just exported 18 different files for 6 track sessions. Had this been a 2-day track weekend it would have been 36 files and occasionally I do 3-day weekends which would result in up to 54 files that need to be hand-moved to my server
As a reminder, I export the CSVv3, VBO and RCZ formats for each of my sessions for each track day and send back to my file server for (1) archival purposes; and (2) subsequent data analysis and video creation with Telemetry Overlay.
I also on occasion export a 4th file - the video overlay - but only for specific sessions where I recombine with the VBO on my PC using a special utility so that I can do data analytics in Circuit Tools.
The way it works now, I have to manually go file by file and hit "Share" and then copy to my fileserver. The way it should work is all the export files go into the "RaceChrono" folder in IOS and I can just bulk copy the single folder. I see no reason why these exported files should be in some restricted app-only private storage container.
I do appreciate the new "clean sweep" feature - that's quite handy for a different problem.
