RC has "Manifold pressure" and a generic "Pressure" channel. But nothing called "Boost pressure".
For all of us running turbos, it would be super helpful to differentiate since Boost is quite different than manifold and they vary independently.
I am solving this historically by just using Manifold Pressure with IDs 1 and 2, with one for actual Manifold and one for actual boost.
The problem this poses is of course RC creates the column header from the channel name. And when I then open the output file in Circuit Tools or some other race app it shows me the RC headers which do not mean what they say. I'm getting to the point working with other people in those tools on my track data that it's annoying to constantly have to say - "no that one is boost not manifold".
A related RFE would be the ability to provide a user defined channel name that propagates into the CSV export. This would be easy enough to add to the channel definition page and you can just store it in the JSON blob along with all the other channel specific info.
While the 2nd RFE could also be used to address the Boost Pressure channel name, given the whole world seems to be moving to turbos the absence of this field is probably causing angst for many other users besides myself.
Thanks for considering.
