Video export failed (SJCAM4000 action cam files)

edited September 2020 in RaceChrono for Android
I'm trying to export overlay video which I've imported from an SJCAM4000 in mp4 format and synched with the Racechrono session. The video is 720p 60fps, with no PIP, and I'm using a OnePlus Nord phone.

As soon as I hit 'start' after adding the session to the queue, it instantly changes 'In queue' to 'failed'.

I've tried exporting just a couple of laps or the whole session, but the same thing happens. Can you please help?

Here is the log file:

I've tried again with a video file exported from iMovie, and the export function works somehow. It would be nice not to have to import and export the video files into iMovie before loading them into Racechrono if that's possible?
  • Unlike most action cameras, SJCAM4000 saves its audio track in PCM format, while RaceChrono supports only AAC. You could use ffmpeg command line tool to convert the track quickly:

ffmpeg -i input.mov -acodec aac -vcodec copy output.mov
