In order to correct my kart driving on the spot, I'm primarily looking at RaceChrono for its live timing feature to know my current speed, whether I'm acing a sector or not, etc. In addition, the import feature (with telemetry overlays) of recorded sessions is also something that interests me for analysis afterwards. However, I understood from the support section that you can not use GoPro's built-in GPS for live timing as you need to import the video files *after* the session.
I would like to avoid having to buy both an external GPS device (for live timing) and an external camera for the video files (which actually includes the GPS data I need but can't use for live timing).
Is there some way that I can use the live timing and recording of videos using a single device?
