Good morning, I would like to ask if it makes sense to synchronize the camera to record simultaneously with the racechrono or would it be better to do it myself after recording?

I recommend recording separately, and syncing afterwards. The automatic sync feature works great, it's the "Bonus step A" here: https://racechrono.com/article/480

The GoPro remote control feature in RaceChrono has become little bit unreliable with generating the sync points (dysfunctional on some cameras), due to recent firmware changes by the manufacturer.
