Custom equation with Device Channels

Hi,

Im working on a custom channel and I would like to divide my obd speed by my obd rpm in order to get my gear ratio
So in equation I wrote:
channel(device(obd),speed) / channel(device(obd),rpm)

the "channel" text in my equation is highlighted in yellow, so I suppose something is wrong but what ???

Can someone help ?

    Unfortunately this is not yet possible in RaceChrono. You can add custom OBD-II channels with such equation, but they cannot "interact" with the other channels. I have "math channels" on my TO-DO list that will allow doing this. It's mostly pending on the required UI work, as the equation engine is already there.
