I'm using vLinker FS as a CAN-bus reading device. My car is a 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance. However, I can’t get it to connect in the app, and I’m not sure why."

    It can only connect to the system when used as an OBD reader, but it cannot connect when used as a CAN bus reader.

    The vLinker cannot be used as CAN-Bus reader in RaceChrono. You'll need a OBDLink reader for that.

    Thank you for your response. So, should I wait for a version update to enable the new functionality (I’m referring to FS supporting CAN bus), or should I just go ahead and purchase an OBDLink MX+?

    There will be no vLinker support for CAN-Bus as it's not supporting the required command set.
