Video Stops On Spinout?

I've had 2 occasions where my video stopped on a spinout in autocross. A second video file appeared to be created but was empty or non-existent.

The first time was a complete spin out. The second time was an almost spin that I caught and continued one of my fastest runs, but most of the run was lost due to the video stoppage. These are the only times video has split/stopped like this out of a few dozen runs (I'm a new user).

Is this a "feature" or known issue? I've reached out to support about this but got no response.

    Not a feature. I'm not sure why that would be happening.

    Happened 2 more times this weekend at a time trial. I lost the video for most of 2 whole sessions after a moderate rear end slip on cold tires in my first lap.

    I cannot really explain it. There's no accelerometer (etc) triggers for stopping the video recording.
