  • Thanks! The standalone overlay export with alpha channel looks to work very well after a quick test!
  • I'm not getting the device update Hz with the new beta. Is this a bug introduced now, or is something wrong on my end? Both the "Device update rate" and per item in the overview is lacking. https://i.imgur.com/7TRqqSs.jpeg
  • @chiller the Hz and time reading should appear once the GPS device is locked to satellites.
  • Ah yes, the GPS did not have a lock when I was testing, and I did not realize that was needed.
  • Hi!
Just tested the alpha matte output, and although it works good, it has no colours, so only white everything. Would there be the possibility to set this to output colours of the position on track, times, etc in red and green as the normal overlay?
    Thanks!
  • I found out that the overlay is just the overlay of the colours of the graphs, and the alpha is somewhat the background. So the Overlay will not be the full video with graphics on.

But, was not able to make it work correctly with the steps in Tutorial https://racechrono.com/article/3161, with Davinci Resolve
  • Sound like crazy, talking over and over again, but eventually was able to get it working. Thanks!
  • Loving the RaceBox Micro support. Now we can start creating a custom waterproof casing for this and use it with RaceChrone to time our laps in eFoil Racing
  • When I try to export with alpha overlay a long session, it fails when it switches over to part2.
The status is "Failed: Process died". If i select retry, it immidiately fails when it retries.

    Great improve!!!
  • Tried exporting the same file from another phone, and it also crashed.
Tried exporting starting far into the race, and it still crashes on the change over from part1 to part2. Currently trying to export smaller sections so not to have it create parts.
  • I did the math and made one that should not be split into parts. It worked for the alpha channel, which was exported first. However the actual overlay was larger, so it got split and instantly crashed once it changed to part2. I believe there is some issue with multi part exports.
  • Thanks so much for the standalone overlay!!
  • Thank you for the RaceBox Micro support!!!
  • It seems there is no "combined acceleration" anymore, only lateral and longitudinal.
When I want do display the the acceleration in the video overlay I used the 2d gauge with x and y axis and displayed the combined acc as digital value. This is not in the list of choices anymore.
