Brake Sensor / Trail Braking

I've used RC a couple years with great results and am getting ready for another reason. As I'm thinking about measure the overlap of braking and acceleration, trail braking, wouldn't RC need at least a brake sensor wired up? I'm running a Spec Racer Ford g3.

    One solution is to use RaceDAC to feed sensor data to RaceChrono.
    Throttle position, brake pressure, RPM, speed, etc.

    Another solution would be a DIY build (programming and electronics skills needed)
