Hi
Maybe one for the wishlist.

Does RaceChrono support external GPS using physical USB interface?
I was considering buying a 5hz device with USB interface, and connect it to my Samsung phone using USB On-the-Go cable.

Would this work at all using your 'file device' option, or would I have to plug it into a bluetooth convertor?

    This is not supported yet. But I might create the support if I can find a good USB device for development. Any suggestions?

    I was looking at the Columbus V800/800+
    They seem to be pretty cost effective, but only output to USB.
    Available in most areas, US as well as Europe.
