Bought a 818XT a while back and didnt use it but now i want to use it with my Race Chrono, however the thing just will not pair, I go to bluetooth device and with the Qstarz on a setting where it should be searching just constantly times out and gives the 'search again...' option.
any ideas at all would be fantastic, thanks.

1) Make sure nothing else is connected to the GPS. Disable any other apps, that might use it, such as "Bluetooth GPS" app.
2) Try recharging the GPS, remove battery to reboot and make sure it is turned on.
3) Reboot the phone and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
This GPS is widely used with RaceChrono so it should just work, unless there's problems with the hardware or if the GPS has been already connected to something else.
