What are Video Channels?

RaceChrono on my tablet has 3 video channels in the linked videos list. It seems like it defaults to channel 1 for every video. I viewed the videos using all three channels and I don't see any difference. What is the purpose of the video channels, and do you need any special equipment to use any channel other than #1?

Just leave them to default if you have one camera. When you add second camera, you can use different channel. Then you select during export or analysis which camera (video channel) to display.
