Any documented file format that can be imported?

One of my friends uses AIM and shared a CSV of his PB that I want to import to RaceChrono as a reference lap.
Unfortunately, none of the file formats available as import options work for this file.

I could write a Python converter for his CSV to some format.
Any pointers on what well-documented file format I could convert that CSV to so that RaceChrono could allow me to import it?

There's documentations on quite a few formats, but most of them are not explicit enough on how the it should be written. I think .VBO is the best and easiest option, and it is documented here: https://racelogic.support/01VBOX_Automotive/01General_Information/Knowledge_Base/VBO_file_format

Notice RaceChrono currently imports only GPS related fields, x/y/z-acceleration fields and "lean-angle" from .VBO.
