Export overlay only (For overlaying on other videos)

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way (Or could it be added) to export the overlay video without having to link a video.

Creating normal videos with a main session video and overlay is fine, but I'd like to add an overlay to a 360 video, and just linking the 360 video would look wrong. (I also don't want to have to create a 20 odd minute green screen video to use as a replacement for the session video.)
