this seems interesting, Wi-Fi data that is distilled can-bus data... @aol_of_RaceChrono this would be awesome in RaceChrono. difficult for ESP32 DIY, since you can't do WiFi + BT simultaneously (receive EXLAP via WiFi and forward to RaceChrono via BT).. would be nice for it to be supported in RaceChrono natively, from ease-of-use, and latency perspective...

Looking what comes out is literally everything you would want for track, speeds, temps, tire temps/pressures, gear, and more...

    Sorry to say, but I've decided against doing this feature. I've had a good look at the protocol on an actual car, and I'm now convinced it's not worth the effort and possible legal risk.
