    Not sure...
  • +100, please support as I plan on hardwiring this into the car.
  • @aol_of_RaceChrono the racebox micro is similar to the mini (25hz)
hope to be supported because it is very useful for karting use due to only 15g weight and small dimensions
  • I have also contributed to the micro and am receiving mine this week. Would be nice to have support for it

  • Just received my micro today. Any update on if this device will be supported?

@aol_of_RaceChrono - According the their dev docs, the only real change is identifying the device....you just need to enable the new name search of “RaceBox Micro “ and a unique 10-digit serial number as you do with the mini/mini-s.
  • @dustinsterk where in app I can enable new name search, if I try to add new bluetooth device it seems not to detect the Racebox Micro.
  • @aol_of_RaceChrono +1, please consider supporting this promising product
  • Hello, I bought the Racebox Micro and it works excellent. I would really appreciate a support or workaround to connect it to Racechrono pro. The Racebox App is also nice but I don't want to edit my custom tracks again. Could you maybe give us your opinion about the support for the Pro Version of the app?
  • +1 for support

  • @Anze88 i was referring to the dev docs for the RaceBox itself. The developer of RaceChrono would need to make the change to support and “find” the device.

  • Please Support the Micro as there is only iMinor effort to do so thanks

  • Altrough the device is OEM they sold over 1000 devices so far in their kickstarter launch.

In my opinion, as an external Sensor with affordable and current GPS Technology it is useful to RaceChrono

  • Please include support for RaceBox micro.

  • @aol_of_RaceChrono any update if this is planned?
  • Any news?

I have a RaceBox micro with I phone holder to use on rental karting. I use the RaceBox app to view my laps during the races but I would really like to use RaceChrono.

    thanks.

  • Bump. Went to use mine with RC today and found out it doesn't connect/see the micro. :(

If someone is searching this is a very nice 3D printable for RaceBox Micro. https://www.printables.com/model/978384-racebox-micro-battery-case
  • I think RaceBOX micro use Nordic nRF52811 module. It is a Bluetooth 5. So a BLE. Does anyone have any other information?
  • I too would like to see the Racebox Micro to be added to Racechrono.
  • Any news on RaceBOX Micro support? I’d like to hardwire mine and use RaceChrono.

I currently have to move my aging XGPS160 between vehicles.

  • Please help add support for the RaceBox micro.
  • I would really welcome the support of the Mirco device.

  • RaceBox Micro is a very promising device. Please, add a support for it in Racechrono.
  • Support will be added on the next version. Unfortunately cannot give ETA yet.
  • @rodrigovodopives it seems to be too much bigger for be useful on rental karts... and... if rains?

  • @conte182 this “setup” is being used with most drivers from the Nacional de Kart Rental (NKR) here in Brazil. It was used also with most drivers in the Kart World Championship last July also here in Brazil. It is a nice size to be mounted on the steering wheel so it can be visible while racing.
I also plan to make a 3d printed case and make it water sealed so it is better on raining days but I already tried it on very raining days races with a ziplock bag over the eletronics and everything was fine also.

I just want to use RaceChrono with that race box micro now so I can test if it is better than the race box app.
  • Another customer here who really wants to have racebox micro support added as soon as possible! :)

  • @aol_of_RaceChrono thank you for confirming! Hopefully its there before next track season starts (here in the US). :)
