Can RaceChrono control a Garmin Virb Ultra 30? Also can the GPS from the Virb Ultra 30 be used by RaceChrono?

    Hi, unfortunately no for both. Currently only GoPro cameras can be remote controlled with RaceChrono. That said you can still link the video files to your RaceChrono sessions. The GPS on these cameras is 1 Hz, so an external Bluetooth GPS capable 5 Hz or more is still recommended.

    According to the spec sheet that I saw for the Ultra 30, its GPS is 10Hz. I was hoping that it could be controlled by RaceChrono.

    Perhaps I'll continue using RaceChrono and my external GPS for lap times, and pickup a Ultra 30 anyways.

    Looks like you're right, it's 10 hz. Maybe it's worth researching then.
