GoPro Max 360 GPS as only device

I currently use a GoPro Hero 9 for data and video and it is simple to import the video file into RaceChrono with the GPS data embedded in it. I know 360 video cannot be imported without editing first, but can anyone confirm that if you use the Max 360 in single camera mode it would work just like my Hero 9 -- that is, you can just transfer the video file with GPS embedded to RaceChrono without needing to edit video first?

I cannot confirm it, because it's not part of our test set. It's too rare to buy just for testing it. But looking at GoPro's documentation it should work identically to the mainstream lineup in the non-360-degree mode.
