Hi everyone,
I had a track session where I used a gopro for video and linked it to racechrono pro on my iphone afterwards. I would like to export it to my ipad, but when I do that, it says the video file is missing and shows a black screen with telemetry overlay (assuming the external gopro footage did not export with it). When I import the gopro footage to my ipad, it shows theres 1 video file but is missing. It doesnt let me delete the black screen footage and import another gopro video as the options are all grayed out. Is the only way to do this is to export the telemetry from my iphone to ipad before adding external video?
Thanks,
Ray

Did you find a solution for this one?
I’m having the same issue:
- Session recorded on iPhone camera
- exporting and then sharing between iPhone and iPad via Files app
- getting the same “file not found” message for the videos when opening on the iPad
Thanks
Ross
If anyone has a simpler way, happy to hear it
On the iPhone used for recording:
- select session(s) … e.g. best lap of day
- go to videos within the session- “move to Photo Album”
- sync photos and videos within apple
- export the session
- share the session to Files
Then, in iPad
- open the session from Files (share via Race Chrono)
- go to videos within session - download each (will say “needs download” if is in Photos correctly)
