I followed
https://racechrono.com/article/faq/how-to-downscale-my-source-video-files as I was getting errors trying to export the original video recorded from my gopro. It was already linked as I hit record from within the session. When I import the new downscaled video, it seems that I have to manually link the video again. Is there a way to avoid that in the future? I would like to not have to move the video/metadata manually.
