"Data Logger" Questions

Really enjoying your software - great work! We've only be able to use it a couple of times on the track, but are very impressed so far. Looking forward to more time on the track with your software.


Question: the "data logger" option under settings. Does this feature only work with a specific data logger, or will it work with any logger that sends its signal via a Serial port?


We are using Zeitronix Zt-2 to monitor 6 different channels (RPM, TP, oil pressure & temp, water temp, AFR). The Zt-2 is connected to our in-car laptop via a USB:Serial cable adapter on a specific serial port. Should RaceChrono see this information?

Joseph: This mode supports only loggers that implement special $RC data format, like the RaceDAC.
